Considering by the dynamics of current points table, it’s pretty clear that RCB and GT looks rock solid to enter Top 2 of IPL 2025 playoffs and they deserve applaud for that.
The likes of Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings are in hunt too for that top position where they have also delivered their best game so far in IPL 2025.
Conclusion from Neutral Angle:
Organizing Tournament like IPL where huge amount of Money is involved in no mean feat, you need to bring all stakeholders, owners under one roof.
The situations have certainly improved it would be interesting to see whether teams are who are at the top of the points table will find it easy once the IPL 2025 resumes or the teams languishing in the middle will have an advantage only time will tell who will have upper hand over others.
Royal Challengers Bangalore , Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans have looked rock solid in their approach so far in Marquee event it seems that they have inculcated different brand of cricket.
Royal Challengers Bangalore fans would be eagerly looking to ensure that they cross the line for the first time especially after coming so close to playing final in 2016 where they lost against Sun Risers Hyderabad.
When it comes to Gujarat Titans they have already won IPL title once in the year 2022 and they would be successfully looking to replicate the same feat in coming matches.
It all depends whether their foreign players comeback after IPL 2025 resume or not.
When it comes to Punjab Kings they haven’t won single IPL title yet so they would be looking to change their fortunes this time around and they have played some outstanding cricket and the way their skipper Iyer is playing it seems that he is on the verge of redemption.
The other iconic team including the likes of Mumbai Indians led by Hardik Pandya faced severe jolt last year, especially by their inability to not perform when team needed them the most.
Once Bumrah made comeback in IPL 2025, it seems that road is easy for Mumbai Indians going forward.
They have won back to back 6 matches in the trot.
When it comes to Delhi Capitals, don’t know what went wrong for them, they could have done wonders by winning initial matches at once they were clinging on the top where they won 6 matches out of 7 games and later they lost 5 games in a row which speaks a lot about their inconsistency as side.
All these teams have bright chances to lift playoffs scenario but one will certainly miss the bus out of these lot.
It would be interesting to see how will make it to last 4.
Catch all action live on Star Sports and the same will be streamed on Jiohotstar app.
However teams like CSK, SRH need to go back to their drawing board and think about what went wrong for them in this ongoing season and how they can correct it to the core.
These teams have failed in terms of accelerating especially their top 4 badly when they were asked to propel longer innings for sure.
