5. Rothmans Cup 1985, Sharjah: 

This is one of the classiest matches played between India and Pakistan on iconic Sharjah soil, where India batting first only scored 125 runs in their 50 overs quota, primarily through the contribution from Mohammad Azharuddin & Kapil Dev.

Imran Khan produced best bowling figure against India in that match, where he clinched 6 wickets for 14 runs.

It was easily looking cakewalk for Pakistan to chase down this total, but the brilliant bowling performance came from Legendary Kapil Dev , Ravi Shastri and Laxman Sivaramakrishnan completely dismantled Pakistan Batters.

4. Austral-Asia Cup Final 1986,Sharjah: 

This was certainly one of the most nail bitter match among India- Pakistan clash in 1986 and the occasion was special, which is Austral Asia Cup final held in 1986, Sharjah.

India batted first and scored 245 runs at the loss of 7 wickets, credit goes to best batting performances Sunil Gavaskar who scored 92 and Kris Srikkanth 75.

Pakistan in retrospect, responded well, Javed Miandad came to bat after losing 3 wickets for 61 runs.

3. Wills Trophy 1991, Sharjah: 

Another Thrilling match between India vs Pakistan, in Sharjah witnessed some of the top notch moments, where Pakistan lost match against India by 4 runs.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, where Men in Green scored 257 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.

Aamer Sohail, spearheaded in batting with brilliant batting display at the top where he scored 91 runs from 133 balls.

He was ably supported by Zahid Fazal who scored 39 runs, during partnership with Sohail.

Saleem Malik added 42 runs to keep the momentum going.

Skipper Imran Khan played a brisk innings of 43 runs from 24 balls.

2.  Pepsi Sharjah Cup in 1996, Sharjah: 

The match will be remembered for breaking Pakistan’s dominance in Sharjah which featured one of the India’s finest batting at top of the order against arch rivals Pakistan.

The Highlight of that innings involved 231 runs stand for 2nd wicket among Navjot Singh Sidhu and Sachin Tendulkar where both scored brilliant centuries.

Tendulkar scored 118 runs from 140 balls complemented by Sidhu 101 runs which was perfect fiddle.

Pakistan posed solid reply in chase started with Aamer Sohail who scored 78 runs complemented by Rashid Latif who scored 50 ultimately it didn’t pave out the way they would have wanted.

Eventually Pakistan faltered against India by 28 runs.

1. DLF Cup, 2006, Abu Dhabi:

This was certainly a charity match played in Abu Dhabi in the year 2006, where Irfan Pathan delivered tremendous spell where he made early inroads by picking wickets of Pakistan top order including the likes of- Shahid Afridi and Imran Farhat.

Dravid along with Sehwag and Dhoni scored oer 210 runs in retrospect, Pakistan bundled out of 218 runs in retrospect Men in Blue who won this event by 51 runs.
