While chasing the target, RCB lost 2 wickets till the score of 15 but then for the third wicket, the pair of captain Faf du Plessis (62) and Glenn Maxwell (76) made a partnership of 126 runs and took the team in a strong position. In the 51st match of IPL 2018, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team batted first and scored 218/6. In reply, while chasing the target of 207, Sunrisers Hyderabad were able to score only 204/3 after playing the entire overs. During Hyderabad’s innings, captain Kane Williamson (81) and Manish Pandey (62) had an excellent partnership but the team failed to score the required runs in the last over. In this way, the partnership of 135 runs between these two proved to be the biggest partnership in terms of record in unsuccessful run chases in IPL.
