The Indian team for T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced. However, Many players who have been selected in this team have flopped badly since the squad was announced.

Many players in the 15 member squad for the t20 world cup are not playing well. This list includes legends like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube who have flopped after the announcement of the T20 World Cup team.

Players who have flopped since being included in the T20 World Cup team

Rohit Sharma – 4 runs 

Mumbai Indians opener and Indian team captain Rohit Sharma was the first player to flop after the announcement of the team. He could score only 4 runs in the match against Lucknow Super Giants. 

Suryakumar Yadav – 10 runs 

Suryakumar Yadav also flopped badly in the match against Lucknow Super Giants. He walked away after scoring 10 runs on 6 balls. He has also been selected in the T20 World Cup team. 

Hardik Pandya – 0 runs 

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya flopped badly. In the match against Lucknow, he was out on the very first ball without opening the account. However, he definitely took two wickets in bowling which is a good sign.

Jasprit Bumrah – 0 wickets 

Team India’s leading fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowled well against Lucknow Super Giants and gave only 17 runs in 4 overs but he could not take a single wicket during this period. 

Shivam Dube – 0 Run 

This time Shivam Dube has been selected as an all-rounder. He has played consistent innings this IPL season and that is why he was selected in the T20 World Cup team. However, after the team was selected, he also flopped and could not even open his account against Punjab Kings. He definitely took 1 wicket in bowling. 

Ravindra Jadeja – 2 runs 

Ravindra Jadeja also could not perform anything special and returned to the pavilion after scoring only 2 runs against Punjab Kings and could not take even a single wicket in the bowling. 

Arshdeep Singh – 52 runs in 4 overs 

Arshdeep Singh has also been selected but he also flopped. He gave 52 runs in his spell of 4 overs.

The T20 World Cup will commence from June 2 and India will play its first match against Ireland on June 5.
