The Indian cricket team has a very busy season ahead. From June 2026 all the way to February 2027, India will play matches in all three formats – Test cricket, One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20 Internationals (T20Is). The team will play both at home and in different countries across the world. In total, India will face eight different teams during this period – Afghanistan, Ireland, England, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, West Indies, New Zealand, and Australia.
Here is a full look at India’s complete international cricket schedule for 2026–27.
June 2026: India vs Afghanistan at Home
India’s 2026–27 season kicks off at home with Afghanistan’s visit. The series opens with a one-off Test match, scheduled from June 6 to June 10, 2026, at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mullanpur. Play will begin at 9:30 AM each day.
After the Test, the two teams will play three ODIs. The first ODI is on June 14 in Dharamshala, the second on June 17 in Lucknow, and the third on June 20 in Chennai. All three ODIs will start at 1:30 PM.
This home series gives India a good warm-up before the team heads out of the country for a long overseas tour.
June 2026: India Tour of Ireland – 2 T20Is in Belfast
Right after the Afghanistan home series, India will travel to Ireland for two T20 Internationals. Both matches will be played in Belfast – the first on June 26 and the second on June 28, 2026. The match timings for both games are yet to be announced (TBA).
July 2026: India Tour of England – 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs
From July, India moves to England for a full white-ball tour. The T20I leg of the tour includes five matches across five different cities:
- July 1 – Chester-le-Street (11:00 PM IST)
- July 4 – Manchester (7:00 PM IST)
- July 7 – Nottingham (11:00 PM IST)
- July 9 – Bristol (11:00 PM IST)

The England tour is one of the longest legs of the season, covering eight matches across different grounds in England and Wales.
July 2026: India Tour of Zimbabwe – 3 T20Is in Harare
After England, India will travel to Harare, Zimbabwe for three T20 Internationals. The matches are lined up on July 23, July 25, and July 26, 2026. All three matches will be played at Harare, and the match timings are yet to be confirmed.
This is a short but important tour, with three games played across just four days.
August 2026: India Tour of Sri Lanka – 2 Tests
In August, India will travel to Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series. The venues for both Tests have not yet been announced. Both games will start at 9:30 AM IST. The exact dates within August are also to be confirmed.
September 2026: India Tour of Afghanistan – 3 T20Is
In September, India will play three T20 Internationals against Afghanistan in an away series. The venues and exact dates for all three matches are yet to be announced, and so are the timings.
September–October 2026: West Indies Tour of India
From late September, the action returns home. The West Indies will visit India for a full series that includes three ODIs and five T20Is.
The ODI leg will take place at:
- September 27 – 1st ODI, Trivandrum (2:00 PM)
- September 30 – 2nd ODI, Guwahati (2:00 PM)
- October 3 – 3rd ODI, New Chandigarh (2:00 PM)
The T20I leg follows right after, spread across five cities:

- October 9 – 2nd T20I, Ranchi (7:00 PM)
- October 11 – 3rd T20I, Indore (7:00 PM)

The West Indies series is one of the longest home legs in this season, with eight matches spread across different parts of India.
October–November 2026: India Tour of New Zealand
In October and November, India will head to New Zealand for a full tour across all three formats. The full itinerary includes:
- 2 Test matches
- 3 ODIs
- 5 T20Is
The venues and exact dates for all 10 matches in New Zealand are yet to be released. This will be one of the most demanding tours of the season, given the number of matches and the travel involved.
December 2026: Sri Lanka Tour of India – 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is
December brings more home cricket, as Sri Lanka visits India for six white-ball matches.
The ODI series starts first:
- December 13 – 1st ODI, Delhi (2:00 PM)
- December 16 – 2nd ODI, Bengaluru (2:00 PM)
- December 19 – 3rd ODI, Ahmedabad (2:00 PM)
The T20I series follows right after:

January 2027: Zimbabwe Tour of India – 3 ODIs
The new year begins with Zimbabwe visiting India for three ODIs:

- January 6 – 2nd ODI, Hyderabad (2:00 PM)
- January 9 – 3rd ODI, Mumbai (2:00 PM)
This short series wraps up quickly before the biggest series of the season gets underway.
January–February 2027: Australia Tour of India: 5-Match Test Series (Border-Gavaskar Trophy)
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be the biggest series of the 2026–27 season. Australia will tour India for a five-match Test series, and it will be spread across January and February 2027.
The venues and dates for all five Tests are confirmed:
