The Test match between India vs England have reached towards last day where both teams are fighting out against each other.
Looking at the current development while the time I am writing this, England have an edge over India as they need 2 more wickets to win this game against India.
However India who looked favorites to win this contest by scoring 193 runs failed to replicate the same feat expected out from them.
Till the Time I am writing this India needs 48 runs to win with 2 wickets in hand in 48 overs, which simply mean that losing one wicket from here would mean that test match ends for them.
Indian batters have disappointed big time and the biggest blunder came from yashasvi Jaiswal who was expected to play big innings with Rahul simply threw away his wicket.
The unnecessary shot played by him clearly depicted his inexperience, in the game and he must learn from his mistakes in order to come back stronger in coming games.
Next in line is none other than Kl Rahul who showed calm, cool and composure on the field but he couldn’t capitialize on the momentum build on 4th day. .
Then comes Karun Nair who might be playing his last game for India, as he has been the biggest disappointment in this series as he might have got opportunity to showcase his mettle but he has failed big time.
Then comes Captain who should be given some leverage considering brilliant run he had so far in this ongoing test series against england as he has amassed 610 runs in 6 innings which in itself is more score as compare to the ones who batted here.
He clearly succumbed to the pressure in last test match against England and he certainly needs to work on psychological aspect of the game.
The walks in Rishabh Pant who also had a successful series so far as he has scored two centuries and half centuries on this tour and deserve credit for his batting, ideally he should have stayed on the crease but again margin of doubt should be given to him considering the way he has played in this ongoing series against England.
Then walks in Ravindra Jadeja who has successfully capitalized number 6th place and batting his heart out there no matter whatever the outcome would be India have shown character especially on the time when their two ace players including the likes of- Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who have retired from the sport.
Then comes in Nitish Reddy who might have shown glimpses with ball but management is keenly looking from resistance at his end with the bat which is lacking big time, and he needs to improve that aspect considering he is an all rounder.
Then walks in Washington Sundar who delivered with the ball but again some runs are needed from him with the bat.
Then walks Akash deep who was dismissed cheapely but you can’t ask bowler to bail you out in crisis situations.
The least management could expect from Siraj and Bumrah is to make sure they stay at the wicket and didn’t lose wicket and complement Jadeja from the other end let’s see whether this resistance would pay off or India would lose this test match which was looking in India’s radar once only time will tell that.
