Big Update: India-Bangladesh ODI Series to Be Rescheduled Soon

All Ardent Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma back in Indian colors in ODI Cricket as the ace superstar have already taken retirement from Test Cricket and T20I format barring one format, loyals fans of these two superstars have no choice left rather than waiting to witness these two players on the screen in Indian colors.

Talking about the latest development, India was suppose to travel Bangladesh for 3 match ODI and T20I series starting form August 17th 2025, where Rohit and Virat were expected to play.

Based on current situation politically between these two countries, things look sour at the moment.

The statements coming from Mohammad Yunus (Interim Head Post in Bangladesh) where he said something about Indian seven sisters didn’t go down well with Indian Administrators.

Not dwelling much into political situation in Bangladesh, minorities in the country is facing severe atrocities over there.

So ideally political situation doesn’t look good at all.

Bangladesh Cricket President Aminul Islam said while talking to local media outlets ” We were expecting India to come here in Bangladesh and play cricket also we are engaging in positive conversations with BCCI(Indian Cricket Board) however they haven’t got clearance from their cricket board. If anything doesn’t align properly, we would be looking for another term to host India in our backyard and we are very optimistic about hosting them in Bangladesh”

BCCI is yet to give any official statement on this matter, cricket fans in India were eagerly waiting to see Virat and Rohit but it seems now they need to wait for little longer to see their favorite star play ODI Cricket in Indian jerseys.

Talking about Rohit and Virat Kohli they both are enjoying their family time where one (Sharma) is travelling with family however Kohli is enjoying in London at his house as per sources.

Indian Cricket Team are currently engaging in 5 Match Test Series against England where they have lost 1st match of the series staying competitive throughout 5 days but ending last day in disappointing fashion.

Post England Series India were suppose to engage with Bangladesh followed by Asia Cup in September which completely looks dicey at the moment so most important if these two events don’t go as planned till this time period it would be imperative to say India would play any another country during that tenure as they are certainly one of the busiest teams in cricket.
