Mohit Sharma was run out for zero, and DC ended their innings at 193/10 in 19 overs, falling short by 12 runs. This loss not only broke DC’s winning streak but also marked their 45th defeat at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

DC’s record of 45 home losses now equals RCB’s unwanted milestone at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Other IPL teams have also faced tough times at their home grounds, but none match this number. For example, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the defending champions, have lost 38 matches at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Mumbai Indians, despite their five IPL titles, have 34 losses at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
