Based on Sources close to distinct developments, BCCI is eagerly not looking to take hassle call as Coach Gautam Gambhir Point of View will also be taken into consideration.
“If one looks at the performances for the year 2023-24, India won T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025, three players including the likes of- Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja so ideally it won’t look good for them to demote them in annual contracts”
“The latest Test series loss, against New Zealand at Home and the debacle in Australia happened after October so the next contract which will be given to players will be based on players current performance” BCCI Source said.
As per latest update BCCI is also planning to trim current Coaching staff as there are currently six coaches travelling with Indian Team.
IPL is currently underway where more than 30 matches have been played now where 10 teams are competing against each other for the prestigious crown.
